Rocio was born and raised in Santa Barbara. She graduated from San Francisco State University in 2018 and began her career in education where she worked with youth and families. She currently works at the Mental Wellness Center and offers mental health education to students, families, schools and organizations. She has a passion for helping make resources and opportunities inclusive and accessible for all.

In her free time, she likes spending time in nature and enjoys being active. As a former long distance runner, she now enjoys hiking, biking and yoga.
