David is originally from the Central Valley. Growing up in a low-income, rural agricultural town, he learned the value of hard work and grew his passion for the pursuit of something greater. That passion led him to Santa Barbara to pursue his education at UCSB where David graduated with a double major in Sociology and History of Public Policy & Law, with a minor in Earth Science. Through personal experience and education, the strong realization to help those that have been less fortunate than he’s been hit him.

By day David works as a Case Manager at a homeless service organization in Santa Barbara, focusing on helping students that are experiencing housing insecurity. He loves what he does and loves TSC’s mission and values.

Outside of work, David is a huge Lakers and Lebron James fan and spends a lot of time tuning into games. He also enjoys spending time with friends and keeping active.
